This short edit is about surfing in details. The author has slowed the video to 1000 frames per second, so that everyone can watch it in details. On this video, surfing looks completely different than watching at regular speed. This effect was invented by priest August Musger from Australia, and since then, it is widely used in cinematography and amateur video editing. Today, slow motion is often used in sports, especially when there are some controversial moments on finish or simply to show best shots more accurately. This video is a good example of slow motion usage.
